Home/Why Win Work

Right timeIn your nameNothing hiddenHonest about the market

Someone watching your market and opening new accounts, while you do the work.

A business development manager, or BDM, finds new clients, starts the conversation and books the meeting, so the owner can get on with the work. Win Work is that role on contract. We read your market every day, work out who is about to need you and why now, then contact that person in your name. You can see the whole list, and the person you speak to is the person doing the work. It is not marketing, and it is not a list of names.

What an owner can buy today

Most owners have tried at least one of these already. Here is where each one falls short, and what a contract BDM does instead.

A sales hire
Months of training before it pays off, a salary and on costs before the first meeting, and you still have to manage them. We are up and running inside the thirty day pilot, and all you manage is a thirty minute catch up.
Marketing
Builds awareness and reports on likes and clicks, not meetings with the people who give out the work.
Bought lists and lead generation
A list of names, often resold, with no control over what is said in your name and no view of timing. We work from a named list you can see, built from what is happening in your market this week, and book only qualified meetings.
Appointment setting by volume
Books as many meetings as possible from a script, whether they fit or not, and you waste the time. We book fewer, with people who can say yes.
Doing it yourself
Most replies come from the follow ups, and a busy owner rarely has time to send them. The effort is spent and the work never arrives.
Waiting for referrals
Referrals are the best work you get, but you can’t choose when they come. We find the same kind of client every week, so you are not waiting.

Three lines we never cross, so you know where you stand.

  • Nothing goes out without your sign off. We never contact anyone until you have approved the wording and the list in writing.
  • No one on your do not contact list. Anyone you name is never approached, and anyone who asks to stop is removed straight away.
  • No claims you can’t stand behind. We never say anything about your business that you haven’t approved or can’t back up.

And we never name a client or a business we have contacted in public without written consent. Results are shared by type of business and region until then.
