This policy explains what information Win Work collects, why, how it is handled, and how you can access or correct it. Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and commercial electronic messages are sent in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
What is collected
- Website enquiries and the market size check. Your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, industry, location, the answers you give in the check and whatever you choose to write in the message field.
- Weekly brief subscribers. Your email address, sector and state, and a record of your subscription.
- Clients. Contact details for the people who engage and work with Win Work, the engagement agreement, and the information needed to run outreach in the client’s name.
- Businesses approached on behalf of clients. Business contact details of the person who decides at an organisation, gathered from public sources and business databases, together with a record of what was sent and when.
- Website use. Standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected in aggregate through Google Analytics.
Why it is collected
To answer enquiries, assess whether a market suits a campaign, run engagements for clients, send the weekly brief to people who asked for it, invoice, and meet legal obligations. Business contact information is collected only where it relates to the recipient’s business role and only for business to business contact.
Outreach sent on behalf of clients
Win Work sends business to business email in its clients’ names. Every message identifies the sender, relates to the recipient’s business role, and carries a working way to opt out. Anyone who asks to stop is removed and is not contacted again for that client. A prospect approached for one client is never shared with another client.
How it is used and disclosed
Information is used for the purpose it was collected or a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect. It may be disclosed to service providers that help operate the business, such as email, hosting, form handling, email marketing, prospect data, booking and accounting providers, all of whom are bound to protect it. Some providers store data outside Australia and reasonable steps are taken to ensure comparable protection applies. Personal information is not sold and is not disclosed for anyone else’s marketing.
Website terms
This website is provided for general information about Win Work and its services. Prices are published in Australian dollars and are confirmed in writing before any engagement. Figures quoted in opportunity briefs are taken from the sources named at the time of writing and should be checked before they are relied on. Nothing on this website is a promise of sales or revenue. The outcome Win Work works to is booked meetings with named decision makers, as set out in each engagement agreement.
Storage and security
Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered by email and stored in business systems. Client credentials are kept in a password vault and never in email. Reasonable steps are taken to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure, and records are kept only as long as they are needed.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information held about you, and ask for anything inaccurate, out of date or incomplete to be corrected. A response will come within a reasonable period, and if access cannot be given, the reason will be explained.
Complaints
If you believe your personal information has been mishandled, contact Win Work first and it will be investigated and answered. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
